A Mother's Gift
A short Act 7 side quest about returning Uroboruuk's Mother's Pendant to Daila Thornsbury. Its item trigger and Daila's availability depend on two separate expansion questlines.
There is no quest giver. After defeating Dravis and finishing the conversation with Uroboruuk during Tomb of the Eldritch Sun, open the easy-to-miss possessions chest left where he was. Turning the pendant in also requires Daila's Act 6 questline through Family Matters.
- 1Check Uroboruuk's possessions
- ▸Advance Tomb of the Eldritch Sun to the far end of Remnants of Korvan City and defeat Dravis.
- ▸Speak with the dying Uroboruuk and complete the main quest.
- ▸Open Uroboruuk's Possessions where he disappears. The chest blends into the scene, so do not leave immediately after the conversation.
- 2Pick up the Mother's Pendant
- ▸Loot the Mother's Pendant from the chest to trigger A Mother's Gift automatically.
- ▸The objective asks you to deliver it to someone important to it; that person is Daila Thornsbury.
- 3Complete Daila's prerequisite quests
- ▸Daila only accepts the pendant after you complete her Act 6 side-quest chain through Family Matters.
- ▸If unfinished, continue Daila's quests in Mourndale. Once Family Matters is complete, you can hand over the pendant there.
- ▸If Family Matters was already complete, Daila appears just north of the Korvan City Rift.
- 4Return the pendant to Daila
- ▸Speak with Daila Thornsbury in Mourndale or just north of the Korvan City Rift and give her the Mother's Pendant.
- ▸The reward is experience plus one Celestial Lotus.
- ▸Daila disappears after completion. This does not block the other secret quests.
If you lack the pendant, return from the Korvan City Rift to the entrance of the Tomb of the Eldritch Sun and recheck the chest where Uroboruuk disappeared. If you have the pendant but cannot find Daila, verify Family Matters: find her in Mourndale while finishing that chain, or just north of the Korvan City Rift after it is complete.
