WHY PLAYERS GET STUCK
Myla is not at Homestead or beside the Blood Grove Riftgate. She stands at the far eastern end of Morton's Claim, the eastern spur of the Blood Grove. Giving her Dynamite is not the end: enter the opened Bone Pit, speak to her again, and defeat the Wraith of Sorrows.
WALKTHROUGH
- 1Find Myla at Morton's Claim
- ▸Travel east from the Blood Grove Riftgate and enter Morton's Claim on the eastern side of the Blood Grove.
- ▸At the far eastern end, speak to Myla Finegan beside a cave entrance blocked by a collapse.
- ▸There is no prerequisite quest or faction requirement; speaking with Myla starts the quest.
- 2Give Myla one Dynamite
- ▸Have one Dynamite in your inventory, speak with Myla, and give it to her to clear the cave entrance.
- ▸This uses an ordinary Dynamite consumable; there is no special quest-only stick to collect nearby.
- ▸After the collapse is cleared, Myla moves inside the cave.
- 3Speak to Myla inside the Bone Pit
- ▸Enter the newly opened Bone Pit and speak to Myla deeper inside.
- ▸This is not a harmless reward turn-in: she reveals that she lures travelers into the cave to drain their vitality.
- ▸Continue the dialogue until Myla transforms into the Wraith of Sorrows and attacks.
- 4Defeat the Wraith of Sorrows
- ▸The Wraith of Sorrows deals physical, cold, and vitality damage and has strong life-stealing attacks, so avoid letting it sustain through repeated close-range hits.
- ▸It has very high bleeding resistance and can drop its unique Monster Infrequent, the Spectral Crown, among other spectral weapons.
- ▸The quest completes automatically when the Wraith dies; there is no separate turn-in. XP rewards are 12,000 on Normal, 38,000 on Elite, and 75,000 on Ultimate.
STILL LOST?
If you cannot find the quest giver, travel east from the Blood Grove Riftgate to the far eastern end of Morton's Claim. If progress stops after handing over Dynamite, enter the newly opened Bone Pit and speak to Myla again inside.
There is no prerequisite quest, faction requirement, choice branch, time limit, or failure condition. This is a Base Game Act 3 quest; Forgotten Gods is not required.
