Archmage Aleksander
Archmage Aleksander is an Aetherial Vanguard Nemesis boss that can spawn at random locations around Act 6 Malmouth once Aetherial Vanguard infamy reaches Nemesis. There is no actual quest named Bounty: Aleksander, so there is no Bounty Table acceptance, turn-in, or fixed quest XP.
He will never appear on the Malmouth Resistance Bounty Table. The requirement is not Respected reputation with a friendly faction, but Nemesis infamy with the hostile Aetherial Vanguard. His location is not fixed; a spawn point is selected from multiple candidates each game session.
- 1Reach Nemesis with the Aetherial Vanguard
- ▸With Ashes of Malmouth installed, kill Aetherial Vanguard enemies in Act 6 until their infamy reaches Nemesis.
- ▸Respected status with the Malmouth Resistance and access to its Bounty Table are not direct requirements for Aleksander to spawn.
- 2Search the Malmouth spawn areas
- ▸Check Nemesis spawn points around Malmouth, including Crown Hill, the Fleshworks, and Malmouth Harbor.
- ▸If he is not found, return to the main menu, start a new game session, and search the candidate areas again.
- 3Avoid the meteor and shards
- ▸Prepare for aether, elemental, and physical damage, and move well clear of the impact point when his large overhead meteor appears.
- ▸His green shards support nearby enemies and attack you; destroy them quickly or leave their area of effect.
- ▸A roof can block the large meteor, but avoid being trapped with his projectiles and shards in a confined space.

- ▸Collect the Nemesis chest and loot, checking for his unique Monster Infrequents, Aleksander's Legguards or Aleksander's Chausses.
- ▸This is not a quest completion, so there is no Bounty Table turn-in, faction reputation reward, or difficulty-scaled fixed quest XP.
Check the faction panel, not a Bounty Table. If Aetherial Vanguard infamy is Nemesis, search Crown Hill, the Fleshworks, Malmouth Harbor, and the other Malmouth candidates; restart the game session if he is not found.
