Bounty: The Bloodlord
An Act 4 faction bounty offered by the Black Legion, Kymon's Chosen, or Order of Death's Vigil Bounty Table. Kill Bloodlord Thalonis in the Seal of the Loghorrean, then return to the table that issued the bounty.
Bounties have no quest marker on the mini-map. Thalonis is not in the Blood Grove or Darkvale; he is in the Seal of the Loghorrean beyond the deepest part of the Necropolis Interior, immediately before the Edge of Madness entrance. Killing him before accepting the bounty does not count.
- 1Accept the bounty from a Bounty Table
- ▸Roll and accept The Bloodlord at the Black Legion, Kymon's Chosen, or Order of Death's Vigil Bounty Table.
- ▸Only one bounty per faction can be active, and each faction offers at most five bounties per game session.
- ▸If Thalonis was already killed, restart the game session and accept the bounty before killing him; a prior kill does not count.
- 2Travel through the Necropolis Interior
- ▸Start from the Necropolis Interior Rift and proceed to the far end of the area, then enter the Seal of the Loghorrean.
- ▸No yellow star or circle is shown, so navigate by the area name rather than waiting for a quest marker.
- 3Slay Bloodlord Thalonis
- ▸Proceed through the Seal of the Loghorrean and kill Bloodlord Thalonis immediately before the entrance to the Edge of Madness.
- ▸Confirm that the quest log updates to returning to the issuing Bounty Table.
- 4Return to the issuing Bounty Table
- ▸Return to the issuing faction's Bounty Table. XP is 5,000 on Normal, 9,000 on Elite, and 15,000 on Ultimate.
- ▸Black Legion reputation is +400/+800/+1,000; Kymon's Chosen is +200/+400/+575; Order of Death's Vigil is +200/+400/+575.
- ▸All versions apply -50/-100/-150 Chthonian reputation and award a random component from the issuing faction's reward table.
The missing marker is normal. Go to the Necropolis Interior Rift, enter the Seal of the Loghorrean at the far end, and find Thalonis immediately before the Edge of Madness. If he was already dead, start a new game session and kill him after accepting the bounty.
