An Act 2 side quest offered by Bernard at Rover Camp in Arkovian Foothills. Recover Dynamite from Staunton Mine and destroy the bandit barricade blocking the northern road. It awards an Inventory Bag on every difficulty.

WHY PLAYERS GET STUCK
Staunton Mine guarantees the quest Dynamite, but one Dynamite already in your inventory also works. You may even destroy the barricade before accepting the quest. This is not a kill objective: interact with the Detonation Site at the barricade's base.
WALKTHROUGH
- 1Speak to Bernard at Rover Camp
- ▸Advance through Act 2 to Arkovian Foothills and enter Rover Camp near the riftgate.
- ▸Accept Clearing the Way from Bernard in the camp. It has no prerequisite quest.
- 2Recover Dynamite from Staunton Mine
- ▸Cross the bridge at the western edge of the camp and enter Staunton Mine just beyond it.
- ▸Pick up the Dynamite placed in plain sight inside the mine; it is a guaranteed quest objective.
- ▸If you already carry regular Dynamite, you may skip the mine and proceed to the barricade.
- 3Destroy the northern bandit barricade
- ▸Exit Staunton Mine and head north to the barricade blocking the road toward Old Arkovia.
- ▸Interact with the Detonation Site at the base of the barricade and spend one Dynamite.
- ▸Destroying it before accepting the quest is valid; speaking with Bernard advances the quest to completion.
- 4Report to Bernard and receive the bag
- ▸Return to Rover Camp and report to Bernard.
- ▸Rewards are 3,000 XP / 500 Iron on Normal, 24,000 XP / 2,500 Iron on Elite, and 55,000 XP / 8,000 Iron on Ultimate.
- ▸Every difficulty also awards +250 Rovers reputation and one Inventory Bag.
STILL LOST?
If lost, return to the Arkovian Foothills Rift. Without Dynamite, cross the bridge at the camp's western edge into Staunton Mine. With Dynamite, head northwest from the rift to the barricade and interact with the Detonation Site at its base.
There is no prerequisite, time limit, or failure branch, so the quest is not missable. On Normal it is an early bag expansion; on Elite it is the earliest source of the fifth bag. Ultimate still lists a bag reward, but inventory cannot expand beyond the maximum.
