Source of inventory bag #5. On Elite difficulty in Act 2, take Clearing the Way again from Bernard at Rover Camp in Arkovian Foothills, recover Dynamite from Staunton Mine, and blow up the barricade to the north.

WHY PLAYERS GET STUCK
Clearing the Way does not end with the Normal version. The same quest also rewards an inventory bag on Elite, so if you are stuck at 4 bags, return to Bernard at Rover Camp in Elite Act 2.
WALKTHROUGH
- 1Reach Rover Camp in Elite Act 2
- ▸Unlock Elite through Normal / Veteran progression, then advance the Elite campaign to Act 2.
- ▸Open the Arkovian Foothills Riftgate and enter Rover Camp. The camp is east of Staunton Mine, past the bridge.
- ▸Even if Clearing the Way is complete on Normal, it can be taken again on Elite.
- 2Accept Clearing the Way from Bernard
- ▸Talk to Bernard inside Rover Camp and accept Clearing the Way.
- ▸The objectives are to collect 1 Dynamite, destroy the Bandit Barricade blocking the road, and report back to Bernard.
- ▸If Clearing the Way is not in your quest log, confirm that you are speaking to him on Elite difficulty.
- 3Recover Dynamite from Staunton Mine
- ▸Cross the bridge on the western edge of Rover Camp to find the nearby Staunton Mine entrance.
- ▸Move through the mine and pick up the quest Dynamite sitting in plain sight inside.
- ▸Do not assume a carried consumable Dynamite is enough; recover the quest Dynamite from the mine.
- ▸On Elite, enemy damage and resistance penalties matter, so avoid dragging too many hero enemies at once.
- 4Blow up the Bandit Barricade to the north
- ▸Exit Staunton Mine and head north to the Bandit Barricade blocking the road.
- ▸Place the Dynamite at the Detonation Site near the base of the barricade.
- ▸After the explosion destroys the barricade, confirm the objective updates to reporting back to Bernard.
- 5Report to Bernard and receive the bag
- ▸Return to Rover Camp and report to Bernard to complete the quest.
- ▸Reward: 24000 XP / 2500 Iron / Rovers reputation / Inventory Bag.
- ▸This brings inventory expansion to 5 bags total. Ultimate does not add another bag.
STILL LOST?
If you are stuck at 4 bags, check Elite Act 2 instead of DLC or later acts. Take Clearing the Way from Bernard at Rover Camp in Arkovian Foothills, then use the Dynamite from Staunton Mine to destroy the northern barricade.
Bag rewards come from And Not a Drop to Drink in Act 1, Clearing the Way in Act 2, Culling the Swarm in Homestead, and Precious Resources in Fort Ikon. The 5th bag comes from repeating any one of Clearing the Way, Culling the Swarm, or Precious Resources on Elite - Clearing the Way is simply the earliest you can reach.
