WHY PLAYERS GET STUCK
This requires Honored status with the Black Legion. The entrance is not near Fort Ikon or the Necropolis: use the mine entrance at the end of the Aetherfire valley in Deadman's Gulch. The Immolation is inaccessible before accepting the quest.
WALKTHROUGH
- 1Accept the quest from Moira
- ▸Reach Honored reputation with the Black Legion.
- ▸Speak to Spellbreaker Moira in Fort Ikon and accept Legion Retribution.
- 2Enter the Immolation and slay the Herald
- ▸From the Deadman's Gulch Rift, follow the Aetherfire valley and use the mine entrance at its end to enter the Immolation.
- ▸Avoid the damaging ground and Aether Crystals, then slay the Herald of Destruction.
- 3Report to Moira
- ▸Return to Spellbreaker Moira in Fort Ikon.
- ▸Rewards are 16,000 / 65,000 / 108,000 XP by difficulty, +1,000 Black Legion reputation, and 2 random rare components. The Herald of Destruction can also drop its Monster Infrequent, the Storm Herald.
STILL LOST?
From the Deadman's Gulch Rift, follow the Aetherfire valley northeast to its end. The mine entrance there leads to the Immolation. If it is sealed, confirm that the quest is active and that you reached Honored reputation.
There is no time limit or permanent miss; the quest becomes available once its reputation requirement is met.
