Lost Armaments
An Act 3 side quest offered by Weapons Master Borrov in Homestead after A Timely Arrival. With Friendly status or higher with the Black Legion, enter the Conflagration, defeat the Herald of the Flame, reclaim the Abandoned Cannon, and report to Borrov.
The Conflagration lies northeast of the Homestead Rift, a farmland area also adjacent to the Withering Fields. Head northeast outside the settlement and enter the zone covered in green Aetherfire. The cannon is near the broken bridge at the far end and cannot be reclaimed until the Herald of the Flame is dead.
- 1Accept the quest from Weapons Master Borrov
- ▸Complete the Act 3 main quest A Timely Arrival.
- ▸Once the Black Legion is Friendly or higher, speak to Weapons Master Borrov in Homestead.
- ▸Agree to recover the artillery abandoned in the Conflagration during the Aetherial attack.
- 2Travel northeast to the Conflagration
- ▸Leave Homestead through its outskirts and head northeast toward the entrance of The Conflagration, marked by spreading green Aetherfire.
- ▸The Conflagration is covered in green Aetherfire ground damage that normal resistance alone does not negate. Recover on safe ground and cross hazardous stretches quickly.
- ▸Pull ranged enemies onto safe terrain and wait for recovery cooldowns as needed while advancing toward the broken bridge at the far end.
- 3Defeat the Herald and reclaim the cannon
- ▸Near the broken bridge, kill the two-phase boss Herald of the Flame. It summons reinforcements, so avoid extending the fight on hazardous ground.
- ▸After the boss dies, interact with the quest-marked Abandoned Cannon and choose the option to reclaim it.
- ▸Confirm that the quest log updates to returning to Borrov before leaving.
- 4Report back to Borrov
- ▸Return to Homestead and report to Weapons Master Borrov.
- ▸Rewards are 13,000 XP and 2,000 Iron on Normal, 40,000 XP and 10,000 Iron on Elite, or 75,000 XP and 20,000 Iron on Ultimate, plus +250 Black Legion reputation on every difficulty.
- ▸Completing the quest adds two cannons to Homestead's ramparts.
If Borrov has no quest, verify completion of A Timely Arrival and Friendly Black Legion status. If you cannot find the area, head northeast from the Homestead Rift outside the settlement and look for where the green Aetherfire begins. If the cannon will not respond, kill the nearby Herald of the Flame first.
