WHY PLAYERS GET STUCK
The target is not inside Barrowholm. Enter Larria's Den beneath the large tree just north of the Ugdenbog Rift. On returning, Scorv has moved from his house to the ritual circle in the northwest of the village, which makes the turn-in easy to miss.
WALKTHROUGH
- 1Accept the quest from Scorv in Barrowholm
- ▸Progress through Act 5 of Ashes of Malmouth and choose to side with Barrowholm.
- ▸Complete the prerequisite quest Mine Pests.
- ▸Speak to Scorv Egdenor in the house near the center of Barrowholm and accept Meddling Witch.
- 2Enter Larria's Den north of the Ugdenbog Rift
- ▸Travel to the Ugdenbog Rift.
- ▸Head a short distance north and look for an underground entrance beneath a large tree.
- ▸Confirm that the entrance is Larria's Den and go inside.
- 3Choose whether to kill or spare Larria
- ▸Speak to Larria, the Hexxer at the back of the den.
- ▸Killing her costs 250 Coven of Ugdenbog reputation, but makes Larria a farmable boss in future sessions for her unique Monster Infrequents.
- ▸Sparing her means lying to Scorv and rewards 1 Wendigo Spirit from Larria. Either choice advances the quest.
- 4Report to Scorv at the northwest ritual circle
- ▸Return to Barrowholm. Scorv is no longer in his original house; he has moved to the ritual circle in the open area at the northwest of the village.
- ▸Report to receive XP (20,000 Normal / 36,000 Elite / 72,000 Ultimate), +500 Barrowholm reputation, and 2 Blood of Ch'thon.
- ▸Completing this quest makes the Barrowholm faction vendor appear in the northeastern house. Scorv offers The Feast after you reach Respected status.
STILL LOST?
If you cannot find Larria, search beneath the large tree immediately north of the Ugdenbog Rift. If Scorv is missing afterward, go to the ritual circle in northwest Barrowholm instead of his original house. If the quest is unavailable, confirm that you sided with Barrowholm and completed Mine Pests.
This quest is exclusive to the friendly Barrowholm route, but it has no timed failure after choosing that route, so missable remains false. The kill-or-spare choice cannot be redone on the same difficulty. Larria is treated as dead later even if spared.
