WHY PLAYERS GET STUCK
If Constance does not offer the quest, complete Securing Burrwitch and reach Friendly reputation with Devil's Crossing. Fabric is not a normal enemy drop: 3 pieces appear per session in Weathered Chests around the Abandoned Waterfront and are marked on the minimap.
WALKTHROUGH
- 1Meet the prerequisites
- ▸Complete the Act 1 main quest Securing Burrwitch.
- ▸Reach rank 1, Friendly, with the Devil's Crossing faction.
- ▸Once both conditions are met, take the quest from Constance beside the children inside Devil's Crossing.
- 2Travel to the Abandoned Waterfront
- ▸Use the Burrwitch Village Rift and head to the Abandoned Waterfront on the west side of the village.
- ▸Search the docks and ruined buildings along the shore. The objective is not in Devil's Crossing or Lower Crossing.
- ▸Track the quest to see markers for the chests containing Fabric on the minimap.
- 3Collect 3 Fabric
- ▸Open the Weathered Chests placed around the Abandoned Waterfront.
- ▸Collect a total of 3 Fabric quest items from those chests.
- ▸The locations are selected from several possible spots rather than one fixed chest. A session provides the required 3 pieces, so follow each marker.
- 4Return the Fabric to Constance
- ▸After collecting 3 Fabric, return to Devil's Crossing and give them to Constance.
- ▸Rewards are difficulty-based XP (600 / 13,000 / 32,000), +250 Devil's Crossing reputation, and a Fortified Doublet.
- ▸Completing the quest also replaces the prison's dilapidated canopies, slightly improving the hub's appearance.
STILL LOST?
If the quest is unavailable, verify Securing Burrwitch is complete and Devil's Crossing reputation is Friendly. If accepted but Fabric is missing, go west from the Burrwitch Village Rift to the Abandoned Waterfront, track the quest, and open the 3 marked Weathered Chests.
This optional faction quest has no timer or failure branch. Fabric collected before accepting the quest or on an earlier difficulty can also be turned in.
