The Search for Uroboruuk
An Order of Death's Vigil faction side quest offered by the Keeper of Tomes in the Bastion of the Order after completing Service Beyond Death and reaching Honored status. Travel through East Marsh to Craig's Crags, kill Uroboruuk's Guardian, recover Uroboruuk's Notes, and return them to the Keeper.
Completing the prerequisite alone is not enough; Order of Death's Vigil reputation must also be Honored. The destination is not Homestead or Blood Grove in Act 3, but deep in East Marsh east of Burrwitch Village in Act 1. Approach the coffin in Craig's Crags to spawn the boss, then pick up the Notes after the kill.

- ▸Join the Order of Death's Vigil and complete the prerequisite Service Beyond Death.
- ▸Raise Order reputation to Honored (rank 3) through enemy kills or bounties.
- ▸Accept the quest from the Keeper of Tomes in the Bastion of the Order west of Sorrow's Bastion.
- 2Travel to East Marsh
- ▸Travel to the Burrwitch Village Rift.
- ▸Cross the river east of the village into East Marsh and continue east through the swamp.
- ▸Craig's Crags is near the far eastern end of East Marsh, slightly west of the shrine.
- 3Kill the Guardian and collect the Notes
- ▸Approach the coffin in the open area of Craig's Crags and kill Uroboruuk's Guardian when it appears.
- ▸Avoid its Chaos attacks and summoned creatures; clear the adds first if necessary.
- ▸Be sure to pick up Uroboruuk's Notes after the Guardian dies.
- 4Return to the Keeper of Tomes
- ▸Return to Sorrow's Bastion and give the Notes to the Keeper of Tomes in the Bastion of the Order.
- ▸Rewards are 16,000 / 44,500 / 82,000 XP by difficulty, +2,000 Order of Death's Vigil reputation, and two random rare partial components.
- ▸The quest itself has no timer or failure branch.
If the quest is unavailable, confirm that Service Beyond Death is complete and Order reputation is Honored. Once accepted, cross the river east of Burrwitch Village and head deep into East Marsh; Craig's Crags is slightly west of the shrine at the far eastern end. If the objective does not update after the boss, check for the dropped Notes.
