Worthy of the Order
An Act 3 Order of Death's Vigil faction side quest offered by Master Varuuk in the Bastion of the Order after Seeking the Order. Search the Cultist camps in Blood Grove, recover Malkadarr's Remains from his corpse, and return them to Varuuk.
Malkadarr's corpse has no single fixed location; it appears at one of five possible Cultist camps in Blood Grove. A star appears on the map when you get close, so search every camp rather than stopping after one. The corpse does not spawn until Seeking the Order is complete.
- 1Accept the quest from Master Varuuk
- ▸Choose the Order of Death's Vigil during Allies Among the Ashes and complete the prerequisite quest Seeking the Order.
- ▸Enter the Bastion of the Order immediately west of the Sorrow's Bastion Riftgate.
- ▸After turning in Seeking the Order, speak to Master Varuuk again and accept this quest.
- 2Travel to Blood Grove
- ▸Use the Blood Grove Rift if it is already unlocked.
- ▸Otherwise, travel east from Sorrow's Bastion through Griever's Mill and enter Blood Grove.
- ▸Your search targets are the Chthonic Cultist camps scattered across Blood Grove.
- 3Find Malkadarr's corpse
- ▸Search the five possible Cultist camp locations in Blood Grove; the corpse is assigned randomly to one candidate each session.
- ▸A star appears on the map when you approach the correct location, so watch the minimap while checking each camp.
- ▸Interact with Malkadarr's corpse and pick up the dropped Remains of Malkadarr.
- 4Return the remains to Master Varuuk
- ▸Return to Sorrow's Bastion and give the remains to Master Varuuk in the Bastion of the Order.
- ▸Rewards are 10,000 / 35,000 / 67,000 XP by difficulty and +250 Order of Death's Vigil reputation.
- ▸After completion, Varuuk offers the follow-up quest Seals of Binding.
If the corpse is missing, search all five Cultist camp candidates rather than only the area around the Blood Grove Rift. The star appears only when you approach the correct location. If none spawn, confirm that Seeking the Order is complete and this quest is active.
